Concrete Deliveries Scheduled Along Old Ox Rd/Route 606 for August 29 - September 2
 

Drivers along Old Ox Road/Route 606 and Mercure Circle in eastern Loudoun County will see concrete trucks and a concrete pump truck daily on Aug. 29 - Sept. 2 between the Titan concrete plant and the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Rail Project’s rail yard and maintenance facility being built on Dulles Airport property. Here is the schedule:

WHAT: Concrete delivery (7-10 trucks/day) and concrete pump truck for installation of
Service and Inspection Building hoist pit walls.

WHEN: Monday, August 29, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
 
HOW:  Trucks will travel from the Titan batch plant along Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the project site.

WHAT: Concrete delivery (6-8 trucks/day) and concrete pump truck for installation of Austin Sand Filter walls.

WHEN: Friday, September 2, 2016 between the hours of 5:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

HOW:  Trucks will travel from the Titan batch plant along Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the
project site.

WHAT: Import fill material from off-site location (Savy Site, Ashburn). 100 - 150
Truckloads of fill material will be delivered to project site. The imported fill
material will be used to replace Unsuitable Material that was found on the
project site. All Unsuitable Material will remain on MWAA property and
stockpiled.

WHEN: Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HOW:  Trucks will travel from the Ashburn Site (near Verizon Complex off Waxpool
Rd.) via Red Rum Dr., Waxpool Rd. (Rt. 625), South on Rt. 28, Old Ox Road
(Rt. 606). Return trip will be Old Ox Road (Rt. 606), North on Rt. 28, Waxpool
Rd. (Rt. 625), Red Rum Dr. Roads will be cleaned during import fill operations
by a sweeper truck.

WHAT: Import gravel from off-site location. 15 – 25 truckloads of gravel will be
delivered to project site daily for the construction of the retaining wall. The
material will be used for subbase and backfill material.

WHEN: Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HOW: Trucks will travel to and from the project site via Old Ox Road (Rt. 606).
