Concrete Deliveries Scheduled Along Old Ox Rd/Route 606 for September 7 - September 9

The following construction deliveries are scheduled for Sep 6-9, 2016 (Tuesday - Friday) in support of the MWAA Rail Yard and Maintenance Facility project. The construction deliveries will be made to the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, Rail Yard
and Maintenance Facility along US Route 606 (Old Ox Road) and Mercure Circle as detailed below:
 
WHAT: Concrete delivery (7-10 trucks/day) and concrete pump truck for installation of
Service and Inspection Building walls and hoist pit walls.

 
WHEN: Monday - Friday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
HOW: Trucks will travel from the Titan batch plant along Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the
project site.

WHAT: Concrete delivery (6-8 trucks/day) and concrete pump truck for installation of
Austin Sand Filter walls.

 
WHEN: Friday, Sept. 9, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
HOW: Trucks will travel from the Titan batch plant along Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the
project site.

WHAT: Import fill material from off-site location (Savy Site, Ashburn). One hundred to 150
Truckloads of fill material will be delivered to project site. The imported fill
material will be used to replace unsuitable material that was found on the
project site. All unsuitable material will remain on MWAA property and
stockpiled.
 
WHEN: Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 
HOW: Trucks will travel from the Ashburn Site (near Verizon Complex off Waxpool
Rd.) via Red Rum Dr., Waxpool Rd. (Rt. 625), South on Rt. 28, Old Ox Road
(Rt. 606). Return trip will be Old Ox Road (Rt. 606), North on Rt. 28, Waxpool
Rd. (Rt. 625), Red Rum Dr. Roads will be cleaned during import fill operations
by a sweeper truck.

WHAT: Import gravel from off-site location. Fifteen to 25 truckloads of gravel will be
delivered to project site daily for the construction of the retaining wall. The
material will be used for subbase and backfill material.

 
WHEN: Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 
HOW: Trucks will travel to and from the project site via Old Ox Road (Rt. 606).
