DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT - PHASE 2
NO Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled for Tuesday, April 3

The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project has no nighttime lane or road closures scheduled for Tuesday, April 3.

SAFETY NOTE:

MAKING PROGRESS and STAYING SAFE:
Over the last several months, Dulles Corridor visitors, residents, businesses and commuters will have witnessed the Reston Town Center, Herndon, and Innovation Center Stations rising up within the tight confines of the Dulles Access Highway median; the aerial guideway that will carry Metrorail passengers to the Dulles Airport Station and through the Airport; and the Loudoun Gateway and Ashburn Stations, also well underway in the median of the Dulles Greenway.

At the future Reston Town Center Station, the final span of the pedestrian walkway that will link the station to the south side (Sunrise Valley Drive) will be installed in the coming weeks.
Pedestrian bridges cross over the highways and connect to pavilions on the north and south sides of the Dulles Toll Road and Greenway where future passengers will begin or end their journeys. Supporting infrastructure facilities are underway all along the Phase 2 alignment.

However, while much has been accomplished there is still much to be done. The employees dedicated to bringing Phase 2 to completion are grateful for the support provided by our community and ask for continued patience, particularly on the highways that encompass the project.

The safety of the public and the project's employees has always been and will continue to remain our number one priority. Please, always stay alert to changing traffic conditions and the activities of large construction machines that will continue to share the highways both day and night.
