DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT - PHASE 2
Lane, Ramp and Road Closures Overnight on the Dulles Toll Road and Dulles International Airport Access Highway - Friday, Dec. 8 - Sunday, Dec. 10
Nighttime construction activities will take place overnight on the weekend of Friday, Dec. 8 - Sunday, Dec. 10, causing lane, ramp and road closures on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH). See below for more detailed information. All work is weather permitting.
Drivers are asked to use caution, remain attentive to all signage, barricades and speed limits, and obey all police and flagger instructions. Slow-moving vehicles and equipment may be entering and exiting the highways and surrounding roads.
Dulles Toll Road East
When: Friday, Dec. 8, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Saturday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Right lane and shoulder closures
Where: From mile marker 1.6 to 2.2 (between the Route 28/Sully Road and Centreville Road overpasses)
Why: Civil work
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Friday, Dec. 8, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Saturday, Dec. 9, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
What: Full closure of DIAAH westbound; traffic detoured to DTR westbound. No toll will be charged to airport traffic.
Where: From mile marker 9.1 to 1.8 (from 2/10 past the Beulah Road overpass to 6/10 mile before the Route 28 overpass). Follow detour. Airport traffic will use ramp at mile marker 1.8 to access the westbound DIAAH. No additional toll will be charged.
