Nighttime Detour of Westbound Dulles Access Highway - Saturday, July 7
On Saturday night, July 7, Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will install electrical, plumbing and fire suppression equipment on the underside of the pedestrian bridges at the Reston Town Center Metrorail Station, requiring a detour of the westbound Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) onto the westbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR). All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY! Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all police and flagger instructions, signage, and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highways at various times.
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Saturday, July 7, 10 pm. to Sunday, July 8, 6 a.m.
What: Full closure of the westbound DIAAH-traffic will be diverted to the westbound DTR and return to the DIAAH prior to the Route 28 overpass.
Where: From mile marker 8.3 to 1.8 (between the Beulah Road and Route 28 overpasses)
