DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT
Lane Closures Tonight on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Airport Roads and Centreville Road – Thursday, December 3

Nighttime construction activities will take place on Thursday, December 3, causing lane closures on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Autopilot Drive and Centreville Road.

Lane closures on the eastbound DIAAH as it leaves the airport will begin at 9 p.m.  From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., traffic will be diverted to eastbound Aviation Drive, and then to the new ramp at the north end of Windsock Drive to access the eastbound DIAAH and the Dulles Toll Road.

Between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the northbound and southbound lanes of Autopilot Drive just north of the Advantage driveway and just south of the Budget driveway will be closed to allow work to continue on the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project Aerial Guideway. Detour signage, flaggers and police will be in place to guide local and through traffic to their destination.

Crews will continue the bridge work at night over Centreville Road at the intersection of the entrance and exit ramps for the eastbound and westbound Dulles Toll Road. Drivers may experience minor delays due to lane closures in the northbound and southbound lanes between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Please stay alert, obey all signage and drive carefully.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
