REMINDER!

Weekend Lane Closings on Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH)

Using Dulles Toll Road Will Avoid Traffic Slowdowns as Crane Goes up Near Reston

Drivers headed to and from Dulles Airport this weekend will experience some lane closures as construction work related to Phase 2 of the Silver Line takes place along the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) between the Reston Parkway and Fairfax County Parkway.

On or about Friday, June 17 at 10 p.m. to Sunday, June 19 at 10 p.m., the left lane of the eastbound Access Highway (toward D.C.) between the Fairfax County Parkway overpass and the Reston Parkway overpass will be closed. On or about Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19, from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, the left lane of the westbound DIAAH (toward Dulles Airport) will be closed. Signage will be in place at several key entry points to the westbound DIAAH to notify drivers and inform them of the option to use the Dulles Toll Road to access the Airport. These closures are required for the erection of a tower crane at the future Reston Town Center Station site. Drivers are asked to use caution and remain attentive to all signage, barricades, adjusted speed limits. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
