Important Lane and Ramp Closures for the
Week of June 3 - 9

Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews continue construction activities for the Metrorail Silver Line, Phase 2, that require lane, shoulder, and road closures, and paving detours at locations along the Dulles Toll Road (DTR), Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH), Dulles Greenway, Reston Parkway, Herndon Parkway, Sunrise Valley Drive, and Sunset Hills Road during the week of June 3 - 9. In addition, lane closures are planned along Route 7 and Route 123 to permit work on bus bays near the Spring Hill and McLean stations.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Dulles Toll Road West
Overhead utility work under the Innovation Station South Pedestrian Bridge will require a closure of the westbound DTR. DTR traffic will be diverted onto the Centreville Road Exit. Signs will direct traffic to turn left onto Centreville Road, right onto Frying Pan Road, and take the Route 28 north exit toward Dulles Airport and all points north; or the Route 28 south exit toward Centreville and all points south.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Dulles Access Highway and Dulles Toll Road East: Construction activities at the Innovation, Herndon and Reston Metrorail Stations will continue to require nighttime closures on the eastbound Dulles Access Highway. During the closures, traffic will be detoured onto the eastbound Dulles Toll Road then returned to the Access Highway after the construction zone.

See below for more specific dates, times and details and remember that all work is weather permitting.

PLEASE USE CAUTION and remain attentive to all signage, barricades and speed limits, and obey all police and flagger instructions. Slow-moving vehicles and equipment may be entering and exiting the highways and surrounding roads.
