DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT
Nighttime Lane Closures and Detour on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) and Dulles Greenway for the weekend of Friday, May 6 - Sunday, May 8
 

Nighttime construction activities will take place over the weekend of May 6 -8, causing lane closures and a detour on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway and Dulles Greenway.

 

Please stay alert, obey all signage, and drive carefully. All work is weather permitting and subject to change.

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
 

When:   Saturday, May 7 - Sunday, May 8, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Eastbound lane reductions begin at 9 p.m.  Eastbound full lane closures begin at 10 p.m.  Follow detour; EB DIAAH reopens at 5 a.m.

Where:  From Saarinen Circle to mile marker 0.4 (near the Rudder Road overpass)

Why:     Installation of a concrete span across the eastbound DIAAH, movement of large forms across Aviation Drive

 

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West

 

When:   Saturday, May 7 - Sunday, May 8, 8 p.m. to 5 p.m.

What:    Left lane closed

Where:  From mile marker 1.2 to 0.4 (from the Route 28 overpass to 1/10 mile past the Rudder Road overpass)

Why:    Tower crane installation

 

Dulles Greenway East

 

When:   Saturday, May 7 - Sunday May 8, 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Right lane closed

Where:  From mile marker 11.2 to 12.0 (from 2/10 mile past the Old Ox Road overpass to 2/10 mile before the mainline toll booth)

Why:     Road work

 

Dulles Greenway West

 

When:   Saturday, May 7 - Sunday May 85 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Left lane closed

Where:  From mile marker 12.2 to 11.2 (from 2/10 mile past the mainline toll booth to 2/10 mile past the Old Ox Road overpass)

Why:     Road work
