CLOSED: Herndon-Monroe Park & Ride Facility Monday, Aug. 21 at 10 p.m. to Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 10 p.m. to Thursday, Aug. 24 at 4 a.m.
All Bus Service Will Be Maintained From Sunrise Valley Drive On or about the nights of Monday, Aug. 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride facility will be closed and traffic from the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR) exiting to the Fairfax County Parkway will utilize the original connector-distributor ramp while overhead pedestrian bridges for the Silver Line's Herndon Station are installed.
All Fairfax Connector, Silver Line Express and Metro bus service will be maintained utilizing pick-up and drop-off points along Sunrise Valley Drive between 10 p.m. and 1:40 a.m.
Overhead installation of two Silver Line pedestrian bridge spans for the Herndon Station (Innovation Station pedestrian bridge shown above) will require the overnight closure of the Herndon-Monroe Park & Ride facility on Aug. 21 and 23. All bus service will continue. Pick-up and drop-off of passengers will take place on Sunrise Valley Drive
Please reduce speed, use caution and remain attentive to all signage and barricades. Slow-moving equipment and vehicles may be entering and exiting the highways and surrounding roads.
