Lane Closures and Detour on
Eastbound Dulles Access Highway
and Dulles Toll Road
Saturday, April 21, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 22

On or about Saturday, April 21, from 6 a.m., until 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, there will be a full closure of the eastbound Dulles Airport Access Highway and lane closures on the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR), between the Monroe Street and Reston Parkway overpasses to allow Dominion Energy crews to work in manholes on the eastbound Airport access Highway.
The work is part of construction of Phase 2 of the Silver Line.

See details and drawing below.

EASTBOUND DULLES ACCESS HIGHWAY (DIAAH) TRAFFIC will detour onto the left lane of the eastbound DTR near mile marker 4.0 (7/10 mile east of the Monroe Street overpass) and return to the eastbound DIAAH at approximately mile marker 5.1 (2/10 mile west of the Reston Parkway overpass). Traffic cones in the center lane of the DTR will separate the traffic and message boards and signs will be in place to direct drivers.

EASTBOUND DULLES TOLL ROAD (DTR) TRAFFIC will merge into the far right lanes near mile marker 4.0 to make room for detoured DIAAH traffic. Traffic cones will be in place in the center lane of the DTR to separate the traffic and message boards and signing will be in place to direct drivers. The detour will end at approximately mile marker 5.1 and all lanes will be restored to normal.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all police and flagger instructions, signage, and barricades.
