at Route 
123 in Tysons 
March 4-8
 
Lane closures are scheduled Monday, March 4, though Friday, March 8, when contractors for Dominion Energy will continue utility relocation work on the south/east side of Route 123 at Dolley Madison Boulevard (Route 123).
 
The change is needed because of impacts caused by Silver Line construction at McLean Metrorail station.
 
The utility relocation work will require temporary lane closures and will run for several weeks.

Route 123 - South
 
When:  Monday, March 4, through Thursday, March 79 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday, March 8, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What:    Left turn lane closure
Where:  From 200 feet before Old Meadow Road to Old Meadow Road
Why:     Utility relocation work
 
Route 123 - North
 
When:  Monday, March 4, through Thursday, March 79 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday, March 8, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What:    Right turn lane closure
Where:  From Old Meadow Road to 300 feet past Old Meadow Road
Why:     Utility relocation work
  
Old Meadow Road - East
 
When:  Monday, March 4, through Thursday, March 79 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday, March 8, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What:    Right lane closure
Where:  From Route 123 to Colshire Meadow Road
Why:     Utility relocation work
 
Old Meadow Road - West
 
When:  Monday, March 4, through Thursday, March 79 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday, March 8, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What:   Right lane closure
Where: From Colshire Meadow Road to Route 123

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
 
Signs and barrels will be used to help direct traffic and minimize impacts.  Drivers should use extreme caution in the areas and allow extra time to travel in these areas.
