Manhole Work Continues in Tysons Corner, 
Sept. 10-14
 
On Monday, Sept. 10, through Friday, Sept. 14, Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will perform daytime work at various manholes in Tysons Corner. See below for more detailed information.
 
Here is the work schedule:
 
Route 7 West
 
When:    Monday, Sept. 10,  9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
What:     Close left lane
Where:   From Westpark Drive to 200 feet before Spring Hill Road
Why:      Survey storm structure
 
When:   Wednesday, Sept. 12, and Thursday, Sept. 13, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
              Friday, Sept. 14, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What:     Close right lane
Where:  From 100 feet after Pinnacle Drive (near Greensboro Metrorail Station) to 100 feet before exit Route 267 ramp
Why:     Survey storm structure
 
Spring Hill Road South
 
When:   Monday, Sept. 10, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
What:    Close right lane
Where:  From 300 feet before Route 7 to Route 7
Why:     Survey storm structure
 
Spring Hill Road North
 
When:   Monday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What:    Close right lane
Where:  From Route 7 to 400 feet after Route 7
Why:     Survey storm structure
 
Route 123 South
 
When:   Tuesday, Sept. 11, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
What:    Close right turning lane
Where:  From Scotts Crossing Road to 200 feet after Capital One Drive
Why:      Survey storm structure
 
Tysons Corner Metrorail Station bus bay (East)
 
When:   Tuesday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m. to 3: 30 p.m.
What:    Close right lane
Where:  From 300 feet before Route 123 (Tysons Corner Metrorail Station) to Route 123 
Why:     Survey storm structure
 
Driveways will not be blocked. Access to businesses will be maintained during work periods.
A special hotline is being set up so callers can report problems with the above work immediately. That number is 202- 579-7832. If you are not on our distribution list, we recommend that you sign up to receive our notifications.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
 
Signs and barrels will be used to help direct traffic and minimize impacts.  Police will be on hand to assist with traffic management.  Drivers should use extreme caution in the areas and allow extra time to travel in these areas.
